Jeff Keeling was born and raised in Lubbock and discovered he wanted to be in dentistry very early in life. While in elementary school Jeff declared in a class project that when he grew up, he was going to be a dentist.

He went to Atkins Junior High School where he and three classmates formed a band called the Silhouettes, playing for various fraternity parties and other events around Lubbock. Jeff played the electric bass guitar, and was already learning that he was talented with his hands.

At Monterey High School, Jeff was active in student government, continued to play in bands and met his future bride Carol Taylor. After high school, Jeff attended Texas Tech University where he was a Sigma Chi and a pre-dental student. He and Carol married and headed off to Houston for dental school.

Jeff graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, earning not only his D.D.S. but also a Master of Science degree. After completing 2 additional years of training in the specialty of orthodontics, Jeff and Carol moved back to Lubbock where they started a practice and a family.

Jeff has now been in orthodontic practice for over 30 years and he and Carol have two grown daughters, Alyson and Taylor. They also have three wonderful grandchildren, Madelyn, Hess and Grae, who bring a new meaning to the word, "FUN"!

Jeff is an active member of local, state and national orthodontic and dental communities. He serves as the orthodontic advisor to the Southwest Restorative and Esthetic Forum. For many years Jeff has also served his church as an elder and a teacher.

It is clear why Jeff loves his profession: “I enjoy getting
to know people. After 30 years of practice, I have
seen it all and fixed it all- but day in and day out, what
I enjoy is getting to know people, forming relationships with families, and seeing kids grow up.”
